On January 6th, the 26th China·Harbin International Snow Sculpture Competition officially kicked off at the Sun Island Snow Expo! 29 excellent representative teams from 12 countries including Russia, Canada, Spain, South Korea, India, Mongolia, and China attended the competition. More than 100 snow sculpture artists come together to compete and show their skills on the stage.

This year's Harbin International Snow Sculpture Competition is hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Harbin Municipal People's Government and organized by Harbin Sun Island Scenic Area Asset Management Co., Ltd. The competition will establish an international professional snow sculpture art judging committee to appraise the snow sculpture works of each team and finally select one First Prize winner, three Second Prize winners and five Third Prize winner, one Best Creativity Prize winner, one Best Skill Prize winner, and one Special Prize winner, as well as several Commemorative Prize winners.

The Harbin International Snow Sculpture Competition will last for a total of 4 days, and all entries will be completed on January 9^th and settled in the Sun Island Snow Expo Park to meet with tourists and friends.
